The 2019 Molson Master’s Recreational Ball Hockey League Championship was decided on Saturday August 3, 2019 with Island Construction & Environment defeating Colonial Auto Parts 5 to 2 to claim the title.

D.J. Lucas opened the scoring 29 seconds into the game to take the early lead for Island Construction & Environment, Robbie White tied the game up approx… 2 minutes later for Colonial Auto Parts. Bob Dawson with two, Steve Richards and Jamie Tobin scored four more goals for Island Construction & Environment to take a commanding lead in the game.

Steve Callahan replied for Colonial Auto Parts with a little under six minutes left to the game and their season to try and keep the game within striking distance.

Island Construction & Environment goalie Ed North closed the door and any chance for Colonial Auto Parts from getting back in the game thus securing the win and the Championship for his team.

Both Bob Dawson with 2 goals, 1 assist for 3 points and Jamie Tobin 1 goal, 2 assists for 3 points lead the attack for Island Construction & Environment to provide enough fire power to take the game out of reach for the challengers Colonial Auto Parts.

The 2018 Molson Master’s Recreational Ball Hockey League Championship was decided on Saturday August 18, 2019 in a nail-biter final with DBA Consulting defeating North Atlantic Petroleum 2-1 to claim the title.

All the soring happened in the first period with North Atlantic Petroleum’s Steve King opening the scoring and taking the early lead 3 ½ minutes into the game. DBA Consulting’s Paul Hann replied 1 minute later with an assist from Sean Handrigan to tie up the game. Paul Byrne (DBA Consulting) scored the eventual winner with 3:46 left of the first period.

Both goalies Doug Squires (DBA Consulting) and Doug Gosse (North Atlantic Petroleum) shut the door in the 2^nd period.

Paul Hann (DBA Consulting) lead all scorers with 1 goal, 1 assist for 2 points in securing the win for his team.

All the soring happened in the second period with North Atlantic Petroleum’s Trevor Williams and Frank Yetman scoring for the eventual winners.

Doug Gosse turned away all shooters and picked up the shut out for North Atlantic Petroleum.
