NL Selects Provincial Teams tryouts

Canadian Junior National Ball Hockey Championships will  be held in Mississauga, Ontario from July 29 – August 2, 2025.
 
NLBHA NL Selects Provincial Teams will be having camps for the following divisions:
15U Boys (Born 2010 / 2011)
17U Boys (Born 2008 / 2009)
19U Boys (Born 2006 / 2007)
15U Girls (Born 2010 / 2011)
17U Girls (Born 2008 / 2009)
19U Girls (Born 2006 / 2007)
 
Anyone interested in trying out for NLBHA NL Selects Provincial Teams must register between January 12, 2025 to April 6, 2025.
Registration is now open. Don’t delay register today!
The registration fee is $150.00 (Regional Camps $50.00 & Provincial Camp $100.00) which is non-refundable.
Registration fees shall be paid in full by registration deadline (April 6, 2025) to be fully registered.
 
Please Note the Following:
Regional Camps – May 2 – 4, 2025 (Tentative) will be held in St. John’s, Gander, Corner Brook & Labrador.
Provincial Camp – May 23 – 25, 2025 (Tentative Date) will be held in St. John’s.
More details on Regional Camps & Provincial Camp will be released later.

Tryouts – The Newfoundland Blackhorse Team

The Newfoundland Blackhorse team will be hosting ball hockey try outs this Thursday, May 30th at 7:00-8:30 at DF Barnes Arena. The cost will be $20 per player to try out.

NLBHA Provincials Player and Team Eligibility

2024 NLBHA Provincial Tournaments: June 27 – June 30 

Division 11U and 13U (DF Barnes /Gould’s Arena) & Division 15U and 19U (Glacier Arena)

2024 NLBHA Provincial Tournaments: July 4 – July 7

Division 17U and Senior Women (Glacier Arena) & Division Senior Men (Tier I & Tier II) (Ken Williams Arena)

All 11U/13U/U15/17U teams must be registered with a NLBHA sanctioned league/program to qualify for provincial championships.  For teams not meeting this criteria you may submit an application for consideration to enter Provincial Championships 2024.  This must be submitted no later than 21 days prior to the date of the Provincial Championships.

**Please note this regulation will come to in effect for 19U division in the 2025 season.

 

All NLBHA players must play within their Provincial Regions as defined by the NL Recreation & Sport Divisions (Summer Games) https://nlgames.ca/about/regions/

If a community within your region operates as an NLBHA Sanctioned league/programs, you MUST Register within that league, otherwise a release in writing will be required.
