Criteria for NLBHA Coaching Applicants:

> Applicants must be a member in good standing with NLBHA.
> Experience coaching elite athletes at high level competitions such as Provincials, NL Summer
Games or other community levels.
> Completion of “Respect in Sports”; and NCCP coaching levels would be an asset and may be
required.
> Coaches must be available during the selection and evaluation of the senior women’s team and
able to travel during the tournament dates.
> Coaches would be expected to promote, support and adhere to all NLBHA Core Values.
> Experience in coaching/developing players at the elite level in other sports would be an asset.

NOTE: Senior Women’s Nationals scheduled for Winnipeg, Manitoba, August 5-10, 2024

NLBHA Coaches will be responsible for but not limited to:

★ Assist the team staff to develop and prepare practice and game plans while promoting a "style of play".

★ Be available for NLBHA conference calls or meetings with executive members.

★ Be available for all pre tournament meetings by the host committee.

★ Adhere to NLBHA core values.
