Criteria for NLBHA General Manager Applicants 

Facilitate the overall operation of the NL Senior Women’s Team to ensure the following:

> Adhere to NLBHA core values.

> Ensure that the team has appropriate medical and therapeutic staff.

> Ensure players and staff understand the code of conduct and ethical behavior representative of

> Ensure all NLBHA coaching staff have taken Respect in Sport training and all other required certifications.

> Implement coordinated fundraising strategies if deemed necessary.

> Assist the team with travel agendas, ie (e.g., flights, accommodations, ground travel)

> Be available for NLBHA conference calls or meetings with executive members.

> Develop team budgets for approval by the NLBHA Executive in coordination with NLBHA Female Coordinator.

> Ensure the team has the same uniform to create a brand for NLBHA.

> Communicate regularly with the host association and CBHA and ensure any requests from NLBHA are being communicated and implemented.

> Be available for all pre tournament meetings by the host committee.

> Develop and present post event reports to the NLBHA Executive as deemed necessary.

> Participate as part of the NL delegation at Senior Women’s National Championships.

> Report directly to the NLBHA Female Coordinator.

Qualifications:

> Membership as a player, coach or volunteer with NLBHA.

> Experience managing elite level teams at the provincial, regional, national or international levels.

> Strong leadership and organizational skills

> Strong communication and networking skills

> Experience working in team environments

NOTE: Senior Women’s Nationals scheduled for Saint John, New Brunswick, August 7-12, 2023
