Registration is now open for the WOMEN’S 4ON4 Ball Hockey Fall 2023 season.
 
 
 

Location: Northpoint Sports Facility located on 42 O’Leary Avenue, St. John’s

Day/Time: Saturdays between 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM – [Depending on the number of participants]

Season Length: Minimum 10 games

Start Date | End Date: Saturday September 23, 2023 to Saturday December 2, 2023

Game Length: 2 X 23 min periods. [run clock]

Team Selection: Drafted by pre-selected Team Captains with assistance from organizers.

Season’s End Banquet @ The Bigs Ultimate Sports Grill [Freshwater Rd Location].

Banquet Date: 4:00 PM on Saturday December 2, 2023.

Cost: $160.00 per player plus $20.00 [Refundable Jersey Fee]

Insurance Fee: $15.00 [19+] per player and $10.00 [18 Under] per player, players who were registered for a sanctioned NLBHA/CBHA event/league or program after April 1, 2023 will not have to pay for the insurance fee for the *Fall 2023 season. Please select the option that applies to you.

Note: If you select the incorrect option, the participant in question will be assessed a $10.00 admin fee + the insurance fee that applies for this infraction. If you are not 100% sure that you are already covered under the NLBHA Insurance policy, please contact us via email at info@hockeybuds.ca

2023 Provincial Tournaments Timelines, Registration, Team Entry Fees, and Facilities

2023 Provincial Tournament Registration will open on April 1, 2023.

 

2023 NLBHA Provincial Tournaments: June 29 – July 2

Division 11U and 13U (Goulds Arena)

Division 15U and 19U (CBS Arena)

Team Registration and Entry Fee ($600.00) due on or before June 14 (No teams accepted past this date).

Entry Fee Payment to be made via EMT to treasurer@nlbha.cm (no password required). Team name must be included in EMT message.

Team Roster Forms for 11U, 13U, 15U and 19U will be provided by NLBHA to teams that register and pay fee by June 14. Please ensure all players are registered and applicable insurance fees are paid.

Coaches and Team Staff must register through Online Registration (Participant Form – Volunteers) with the NLBHA prior to coaching or involvement with a team at any NLBHA event or tournament in 2023.

NLBHA Officials will facilitate and officiate each provincial tournament game. There is a facility convenor and NLBHA convenor for each provincial tournament.

2023 NL United Senior Women Tryout Camps

2023 NL United Senior Women Tryout Camps

The 2023 Women’s A National Championship will be hosted by the Canadian Ball Hockey Association (CBHA) and the New Brunswick Ball Hockey Association (NBBHA) on August 7-12, 2023 in St. John, NB. 

Team NL United Senior Women will be having two (2) tryout camps prior to team selection.  There will be a total of 4.5 hours of assessment time. 

The first tryout camp (1.5 hrs) will be held on Tuesday, May 9 at the Buckmaster Circle Recreation Center. Time 6:30 PM to 8:00 PM. 

The second tryout camp (2 x 1.5 hrs) will be held May 19-22. Day and times TBA.

All interested players will be required to register prior to April 30 using the following link:

NOTE: This includes participants attending the camp(s) and those who are not able to attend camps due to location.

Costs are as follows:

TOTAL $50 = $15 insurance plus $35 if attending both camps (May 7 & May 19-21)

TOTAL $30 = $15 insurance plus $15 if attending first camp (May 7)

TOTAL $40 = $15 insurance plus $25 if attending second camp (May 19-21)

EXEMPTIONS:  Any player not able to attend either camp should request, in writing, an exemption detailing the reason for the exemption. Cost $15 for insurance. 

NOTE: Any junior player who has registered for junior camp would already have their insurance paid, thus their cost would be above less $15 insurance fee.
